Personality: Brandon is a maverick, first and for most. He conforms to nothing except what he believes in, and he follows his own path. This follows in everything he does. He is impulsive. These two combined makes predicting what Brandon does next very difficult.
Despite his tendency to go on his own path, Brandon is quite steadfast - He is firm in his beliefs, determination, and adherence to what he believes in. He is very loyal to his ideals, and when he makes an oath he keeps it no matter what the cost to himself.
Brandon also typically tries to downplay serious situations, people or events that are due respect lightly and with disrespect. He uses a lot of sarcasm, both to tease his allies and to annoy and distract his enemies. At times, this causes him to dismiss what others have to say with little regard for the other person or the situation, particularly if it does not affect him.
Brandon is also cursed with having a compulsive desire to investigate and learn. The unknown must be known, the confusing understood to him. If he hears a noise in the dark or out of sight, smells something, sees a flash of light in the woods, hears a legend or rumor, etc. he has an urge to investigate. This is of course not always very healthy for Brandon, and has caused him many problems in the past. It doesn't help that Brandon can't sit still for too long before he starts fidgeting and looking for something else to do. He isn't the type to long winded explanations or detailed orders.
Brandon loves to make friends, which gives him the ability to make his dreams a reality. Those dreams are ambitious, as Brandon hopes to one day unite the world and end all of the hostilities between humans and metahumans.
Brandon has a lot of confidence in his abilities and his skills as a fighter, and doesn't back down from a challenge, though he would rather end a situation as nonviolently as possible.
The student prides himself on his intellect and creative thinking abilities as well, often able to come up with something out of his butt to give himself a victory or to at least help out his situation a lot.
He is easy to befriend and is trustworthy to a point where even a stranger can notice. He's fiercely protective of his friends to a point of being comparable to a mother bear protecting her cubs.
Brandon has a bit of a dark side to all of these good traits. The firebender can and will fall into a rage if his buttons are pushed the right way and he isn't afraid to kill anyone who wrongs him enough. He's vengeful to extremes and he isn't afraid of using every single one of his abilities to hunt down and destroy his enemies.
Powers: He has two different forms that gives him full control over either the element of water, or the element of fire. He has to become his normal form to go to a different element, and in his normal form, he has a very limited control over either element.
Form Aqua gives him the ability to control water from almost any source. He's able to manipulate the temperature of it, and can form it into any shap he pleases.
Form Pyro gives him the power to control heat and flame. He carries the lighter around because in his normal form and Form Pyro, he can only control the flames, not make them. The flames he produces in Pyro are more powerful than Normal form.
The other two forms are like power boosts, but they consume all his energy if he uses them too long.
In Form Neptune, Chris can create water and pull it from anywhere, even the surrounding air. He can manipulate it anyway he chooses, even using it to control plants or someone else's body. The drawback is that if he reverts to normal from this form, he can't use his forms for a day.
Form Helios is higher lever pyrokinesis. Chris can create fire from his own body heat or pull it from the sun or another person. He can make the flames as hot as he wants them to be, and knows the dangers of making it too hot. Like Form Neptune, once Chris reverts to normal, he can't use his forms for a day.

History: Brandon was born on a warm day in spring. He grew up in a nice place, a quiet rural community in the southern state, surrounded by family. Brandon discovered his powers, fire first, when he was about 8. His older brother had been lighting up a cigarette in a barn. Brandon thought it was bad and pushed his older brother. The cigarette fell into a bale of straw and lit up the whole thing, and was rapidly approaching them. Scared, Brandon screamed and held up his hands to sheld his face. The fire had stopped moving, and just burned there silently, not moving at all. He ran away from the barn, leaving his dumbfounded brother in the dust; later finding out the fire had died as he left.
As he ran, Brandon got closer to a small river near his home. He sat on the banks for a while, crying. It had begun to rain, and Brandon got up, but slipped in the mud. He fell backwards into the water, and hit a cold, hard surface of ice, in the middle of summer. Freaked, he ran back home and told his mother, who had just heard about the school's opening. They were a well off family, so Brandon finished his primary school there, and went to Ashburn City, his uncle going with him to take care of him. His uncle has since moved back, but checks on him preiodically.
He's been a student there ever since, and is anxious to finally graduate.
