Overall Appearance;; Destin couldn't care less about his clothes. Usually with a faint hint of stubble on his chin, he can be seen in dark jeans and military jackets, usually wearing a pair of knee-high black boots. He leaves his hair looking exactly as it does when he wakes up in the morning - he says it gives it character. As far as jewelry and accessories go, Destin has a pair of black fingerless gloves that he wears almost constantly, as well as a silver snake-shaped ring that he wears on the middle finger of his right hand. Whenever he is allowed to, he also sports a noise-canceling headset, which he doesn't use for anything except the fact that it's noise-canceling, and he doesn't have to listen to anything else.

Strengths;; Destin is able to grasp new subjects easily, without using the data interface. Also, after years of practice, he is extremely good at blending into the background and at convincing people, using basic facts, to take whatever he says as gospel. He is an excellent liar.
Weaknesses;; He has a weakness for anything non-factual, such as literature and creative writing, which both require opinions and original ideas rather than facts. Destin also has a tendency to ignore people, things, or information if he deems them unimportant, and he stays up late in front of computer screens, making him perpetually exhausted. Then, too, he is selfish, only doing things if they benefit him.

Personality Overview;; Destin is as logical as one gets: he loves facts, reasoning, and mind games. With the gift of being able to make a mental connection to most any computer within range, he has a wealth of information ready for him whenever he chooses to use it. However, he doesn't use it, for the most part. Instead, as one who genuinely does love learning, he tries to figure it out for himself, though this often means he does poorly in areas such as interpretation of literature or creative writing.
Though at first he seems to be an unassuming, quiet figure, Destin is always busy working or getting others to work for him. He monitors forums, keeps up with news, and writes articles for a "young journalist" site. He is also hypocritical in several senses: though he believes one should not cheat, he is adept at lying and inveigling to get what he wants; though he says one should not waste their time, he spends hours surfing webpages aimlessly; though he thinks that rest is as necessary to being productive as work is, he stays up late nights, tiring himself over the computer, doing nothing but surfing sites. Destin couldn't care less about any of these things, though if he caught another person breaking one of these 'cardinal rules', as he calls them, he lapses into that angry silence that has you automatically feeling guilty.
This illustrates another point: Destin is selfish. Ambitious, though quietly, only wanting to prove himself to himself, he hates wasting time on other people if there is no profit in it for him. He is shy, liking to hide in the background, though he feels he needs to be the best at everything. Introverted and self-possessed, he loathes crowds and loud noises, and claims he has sensitive ears. Often, if he can get away with not talking, he will. The only time when he puts long streams of words together is when he is talking about science or technology, and most people don't want to listen to that. As a result of his reclusiveness, Destin has few friends, though he knows many people from their online activities, and contacts them through there.
He is partial to cinnamon and to chocolate, but cannot stand mint or artificial fruit flavors. Also, Destin always looks just two inches to the left of people's faces, a tendency that developed from his wanting to stay unnoticed.
