The last three days had been very exhausting for Kai. He had gone through a very long move that started with his packing all of his belongings in South Carolina. He didn't have to many belongings since he was use to the constant moving anyway from the way he went from team to team in a country he wasn't even born in to begin with but it was still stressful to have to leave everything he knew behind. Most of his team was scared of him, they use to be his best friends but after they saw what he did they knew it was more then just a vicious hit, they knew what he did on that ice involved something they couldn't explain. It's hard to say goodbye to friends and it's even more tough trying to track down those friends while they are avoiding the person like the plague. Although Kai was a very friendly person it was hard for him to be nice to anyone because of all the rejected he had got.
He couldn't wait to get to this school and have a chance to once again start his entire life over, where other freaks like himself could relate to his story, or at least have a good time without being worried that he was some sort of monster. When he got to the island though he found all he wanted to do was head to his dorm and do a few things he hadn't been able to do for a while, shower and sleep. When he got to the school he had to sign a lot of papers and meet people who seemed old yet important. Finally after that he was brought to his dorm room. He was told that he'd have some sort of roommate but he didn't know who, he wasn't even told a name and when he got to his dorm with his 3 bags, two of them full of gym and hockey equipment, his new roommate wasn't there.
Putting his hockey bag, that also carried two sticks on the outside, into the closet at the corner he then undid his bag that didn't carry items for the gym and instead small little items such as regular clothing or important memorabilia from the past. The first thing he did was take out a group picture of his hockey team in a frame and put it on top of the empty drawer.

(You know, there's actually a hockey team in South Carolina. I didn't know that until last year.)
Sighing overdramatically, Brandon walked down the hallway with a peice of paper in hand.
It was basically telling him he'd have a new roommate. It made sense, actually. His last one did graduate, so...
His clothes were already packed in and ready to go. It wasn't like he had much, but then he was a human washing machine and dryer. He didn't need much. Finally getting to his room, he noticed that the door was open slightly and the light on.
It seemed his roommate was here already.
The elemental walked in, sat down on his bed, and smiled.
"Hello. I take it you're my new roommate?"

(Yeah, stingrays or something like that, I dont see it being the most popular sport down there) When someone else entered the room he turned his head to see who had entered. He knew that he had a roommate but knew nothing about the guy other then the fact that he was male, knowing he was put into a boys dormitory, and wondered if this guy knew about the new roommate. If he didn't this would turn into a pretty awkward situation. Still this school seemed very well organized, he didn't see a mix up like that happening with them. It was all about good communication in the end.
The guy seemed pretty relaxed about seeing him in the room so he guessed he knew who he was. His guess was made sure at Brandon spoke up when he sat on his own bed. "Ya, I am ya new rooma'e." He had a thick European accent but it was hard to place. It sounded almost a mix between Russian and Swedish, mostly because that was exactly what it was but still had it's own unique twist to it. As much as the end of his sentences often ended in a high pitch to go with his accent his voice was actually incredibly low and matched with the size of his body.
Walking over to Brandon he put out his hand to shake his. Everyone here had their own special powers and he wondered if Brandon could even shake his hand with his special power. Maybe if he shook it Kai's hand would fall off. Still it was a risk he was willing to take if he was going to be living with this guy for who knows how long in the future. "Ma name is Koi. Koi Loin." Compared to some of his Finnish friends in the past his name was actually quite simple to pronounce and spell. It was made introductions a lot easier when meeting Americans. "We ah good friends now ya?" He needed to be blunt about that, wanting to know how friendly this guy was. Plus he didn't know anyone here and needed somebody to watch his back who knew the area. In return he was a strong guy he could... help him move heavy objects or something. Kai honestly didn't have to many useful skills except perhaps his power and playing hockey.

(I think it's the hurricanes. not sure, though.)
Holy fuck.
The man was huge.
His muscles had muscles.
Hell, the other guy had to have muscles on his muscle's muscles.
Now that Brandon had gotten a good look at the new roomie, he was almost intimidated. Super strength? The paper mentioned nothing about the fact that he was from another country or what kind of powers he had. Maybe they figured Brandon could handle it?
He had a hunch that people that were grouped together often had ways to cancel each other's powers out. That way, if one had a nightmare and went nuts, the other could help subdue them.
Brandon didn't even thing he had a chance. If this guy hulked out, he'd throw him through a wall.
So when the guy held out his hand to shake it, asking if they could be good friends, he had to wonder if this was a case of a gentle giant.
"I'm almost afraid to say no.
Brandon grasped the hand firmly as he could, considering the thing was about as big as a small ham.
"Sure! Friends are nice. I love making new friends."
Good ol' Southern Hospitality.
"My name is Brandon Bailey. I know the island very well if you need any help finding your way."
Make sure you could be trusted, that you knew a lot of valuable information. As long as he could be a good guide, Brandon had an edge when it came to making friends on the island.

(That's north carolina) As he took Brandon's grip he had a strong firm grip to shake it but at the same time he wasn't about to rip the guys arm off because he didn't have super strength. Kai was obviously very psychically powerful but that was as a human and he didn't have any super powers when it came to his strength. His powers did compliment Brandon the elemental in many ways. In many ways though Kai had an advantage over both of his elemental if speaking in terms of a Pokemon type of battle. He could still be burned or drowned just as well as any human but his electricity could really effect Brandon's water moves. The two of them fighting together could be extremely powerful. Water could make his electricity spread and if they worked on practicing it together they could go far. Still that was meant for a later conversation, right now was the introduction.
When Brandon told him that he would be his guide Kai smiled, happy to have somehow to show him the way around this school and already have a friend. "Tha' is good, very good. First though I shower." Even as he shook Brandon's hand he had a sort of smell coming from him. He was still a teenager and a very muscular one on top of that. From all this constant moving and being so busy with getting into his new home he hadn't showered for almost four days and even he could start to smell himself.
In a matter of seconds he whipped his smelly shirt off of his head and started to undo his pants around Brandon. "Af'er shower we go eat? He was wondering if Brandon wanted to go out and eat somewhere. Along with being stinky he was also incredible hungry as he couldn't eat as much as he usually woofed down on an average day. The airplane barley fed him anything. [/b][/size][/blockquote]
