A broad grin lit up Bryn's face. Anyone who knew anything about any Broadway musicals was a good person to her. “It's from Rent.” she said. “It was my mom's favorite musical. We went to see it every summer since I was eight. I didn't start to understand what it was until the last year we went, and by then I knew all the words to all the songs.” She laughed as he mentioned Avenue Q. “That was another one our favorites.” She giggled, in her mind the lyrics to 'Everyone's a Little Bit Racist' flashing through her head. “Tattoos are pretty epic.” she said, smiling even wider. “Just make sure you find a job that you actually enjoy doing. I wound up working at our neighbors horse farm. Being able to change into a horse is very helpful in that situation.” Her thoughts turned back to her twin brother. They were exact opposites, but they got along fairly well for siblings. Last time she emailed him, it was the end of football season and he was doing great in school. A pang of longing to see her twin shot through her. “I have a twin brother and a younger sister. They can both be a handful sometimes, but I truly do love them.” [/blockquote]

He nodded, interested in her story.
"My mom's not they type for musicals. Or the arts period. She's more sportsy. She plays softball and coaches it for the local recreation center's kids."
Brandon laughed as she mentioned how she liked Avenue Q. He wasn't a fan of musicals, but Avenue Q made him laugh his ass off everytime he heard it. He nodded his head, agreeing with her opinion on tattoos.
"I'd get one, but my parents wouldn't agree to it and I have an aversion to needles," he said sheepishly, rubbing the bak of his head. They can both be a handful sometimes, but I truly do love them.”
"Haha, you're a twin? That's cool. I miss all my siblings. I'm the oldest out of my bunch. I've half raised all of em. Gotta love them, even though they get on your nerves."
The young man thought back on several memories of his family, frowning out of sadness. He shook it off, as this was a party and being sad was not something one did at a party.
"So you... transform into animals, right? What's that like?"

“I never was really into any other sports but softball.” Bryn said. She was actually having a good time, which was a little strange for her. “The needle wasn't that bad, actually. You only feel it for the first few minutes, then it just stops hurting.” she said. It really hadn't been too horrible. It had actually become quite relaxing after a while. “What really hurts is after when your skin gets red and swollen.” Her twin had been allowed to get one as well, but he got an Celtic shield knot on the back of his leg. God she missed him. “I miss them both so much. But being here is really great.” she said. She did love the island. The air was always so clear, and the wind above the island was great for flying in. “Being able to change into animals is the best thing that has ever happened to me.” Bryn replied. “Once I'm in any of my animal forms, I feel more free than I ever do as a human. Especially when flying. Its so open and empty up there, like I'm the only thing in the world. To put in in simple terms: I love it.” she grinned broadly. “What about your power, huh?”
